Engaging video from Basic Leader Course (BLC) Situational Training Exercise (STX) lanes at the Yavoriv Combat Training Center on the International Peacekeeping and Security Center, near Yavoriv, Ukraine. BLC is a month-long course that trains specialists, corporals, and sergeants in the fundamentals of leadership. 40 Soldiers from the 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team took part in the BLC course while deployed to Ukraine in support of the Joint Multinational Training Group – Ukraine.

  1. In environments like this it so easy to get killed. So much brush and so many ways to set explosive traps. The amount of stupid sh*t that can happen is endless.

  2. They need headsets and microphones so they don’t have to yell the commands and the enemy hear them and give away squads position . Just saying!

  3. Couldn’t help but laugh at the title "extremely realistic training scenario" and then hearing the guy whistle at the beginning for a simulated bomb drop XD
    The rest is pretty awesome though.

  4. Where are the Ukrainians? also as much as I like to see our forces training with Ukrainians and in Ukraine, There is a very fine line there. Having Ukraine joining nato or any kind of alliance with west against or without Russia is a clear red line that causes the Russians to re act. Just like how we would react if mexico or canada would enter some sort of military alliance with either china or russia.
